PROformance Quik
Quik is a milk protein based, highly fortified, pelleted horse feed designed to complement and enhance mare’s milk. Use as a foal starter and when the natural mare’s milk is insufficient in both quantity and quality. Quik can be fed through weaning or during a stress period in the foal’s first few months.
- A highly fortified, high-quality, pelleted feed
- Use as a creep feed for foals beginning at three months of age
- Creep feed at the rate of 1 lb. per month of age
- Protein supplied from milk products are more easily digested by the foal
- Use as a weaning feed where low-protein grass hay or fescue pasture provides the forage for the mare and/or weanling

- Fortified with all-natural vitamin E, the most highly digestible form
- Contains high vitamin E level to produce strong foals at birth and reduce incidence of developmental orthopedic disease (DOD)
- Fortified with yeast culture to improve digestibility of grain and forage allowing the horse to get more nutritional value from its feed
- Copper, zinc, manganese and iron are supplemented from proteinated form --- the form of greatest digestibility.

Feeding Directions
Producer Quik is designed to be fed as the grain ration for young horses. Generally feed 1 to 1.5 lbs. per 100 lbs. of body weight per head per day. The specific amount will depend on individual condition and activity. As a guide, beginning the 1st month through the 2nd month, the foal will consume 1-2 lbs. of Quik per day.
Sucklings (3-4 months): Gradually increase Quik to 3-4 lbs. per head per day plus good hay ad lib.
Weanlings (4-5 months): Gradually increase up to 8 lbs. Quik per head per day plus good mixed hay ad lib.
All Producer horse feeds should be fed with liberal quantities of good quality hay and/or pasture and free choice salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.
Store feed in a clean, dry place protected from insects and rodents. Never feed moldy or insect-infested feed to horses as it may cause illness, abortion or death.
