EPN Classic
A high energy low-corn textured feed designed for the racehorse. Contains higher-than-normal levels of lysine, vitamins A, D, E and trace minerals to support top performance during the stress of racing.
- Formulated with a low level of corn to minimize cecal starch digestion to reduce possibility of digestive upset associated with racing stress
- Utilizes steam-rolled barley and oats for primary grain source
- Added vegetable oil increases energy with no added starch
- Fortified with all-natural vitamin E, the most highly digestible form
- Fortified with yeast culture to improve digestibility of grain and forage allowing the horse to get more nutritional value from its feed
- Copper, zinc, manganese and iron are supplemented from proteinated form --- the form of greatest digestibility
- Pellets included in Producer Feeds’ textured feeds are manufactured in “mini-pellet” form to reduce sorting in the feed bowl
- Only U.S. Number 2 corn is used by Producer Feeds --- damaged grain or corn screenings are not permitted in the plant
- All grains used in Producer Feeds’ products are screened on receipt to remove any impurities prior to use in manufacturing
- Oats used at Producer Feeds must exceed United States Department of Agriculture Number 2 standards. All oats are recleaned, aspirated and screened to remove any impurities prior to use

Feeding Directions
EPN Classic Racing Formula is a highly fortified textured sweet feet designed for the performance horse. Feed at the rate of 8-18 lbs. daily divided into two or three meals in order to feed no more than five pounds per meal. At this feeding rate, no additional nutritional supplements are necessary. Adjust intake according to intensity of training and body condition.
Always feed liberal quantities of good hay and clean fresh water.
Offer a salt brick free choice in the feed tub.
