PROformance 16% Horse Power
PROformance 16% Horse Power is a pelleted grain concentrate designed to complement all forage types. It supplies protein, minerals and vitamins for optimal nutrition, performance, production and growth.
- Formulated to meet and/or exceed the nutrient requirements established by the National Research Council
- Manufactured in convenient mini-pellet form that does not attract flies or get hard in the wintertime
- Use for lactating mares and as a creep feed for foals prior to weaning

Feeding Directions
No additional vitamin, mineral or protein supplements are needed when Producer 16% Horse Power is fed as directed.
Foals: Creep feed to foals beginning at three months of age. Feed at the rate of 1 lb. per month of age - do not feed free choice. After weaning, feed at the rate of 1.0 to 1.5 lbs. per 100 lbs. of body weight, depending on body condition. With good forage, yearlings may be switched to a 14% protein grain mix at 14 months of age.
Mares: Feed to lactating mares at 8-12 lbs. per day with liberal forage. Adjust feed intake according to mare condition, milk production and forage quality.
All Producer horse feeds should be fed with liberal quantities of good quality hay and/or pasture and free-choice salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.
Store feed in a clean, dry place protected from insects and rodents. Never feed moldy or insect-infested feed to horses as it may cause illness, abortion or death.
